I'm always excited to celebrate someone's birthday but when an invitation for a 21st Masquerade slipped into my letterbox, I was ecstatic! For years I've been obsessed with the concept and I am proud to say, last night certainly lived up to expectations.
(Unfortunately, true to form, my camera refused to take any clear photos, but if you're keen I'll see if I can scrounge some better quality images from friends)

Hints at what's to come

Some well-dressed guests (Yep, that's my chap on the far left and in the centre is the birthday girl donning the most delightful Venetian mask)

This vintage belt (probably dated around 40's-60's) made me green with envy! My lucky friend inherited it from her grandmother

 A collection of masks

A friends mask, but my gold glomesh bag!
Wearing a vintage suit (possibly a band uniform) from the Canterbury Vintage Fair, an ostrich feather in my hair and a black wire mask, handmade by me.
